In a separate bowl whisk together dry ingredients:

Part of our schooling is teaching the boys life skills.
Last week we made homemade flour tortillas
Daniel and Evan eating their delicious tortillas with some melted butter and dusted with sugar.
Makes about 10-12
3 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1/3 cup oil
1 cup warm water
Combine all ingredients until it forms a dough. Roll into a big ball and divide into 10-12 equal pieces. Pat flat with your hands or use a rolling pin and roll thin as it will puff up a little. Put on a griddle on the stove and let the sides cook until there are lil brown specks. I like to use a little butter in my pan
Today I taught the boys how to roll Lumpia.
Cooking together is a great way to use those fine motor skills
Concentrating on geting the technique down.
Done. Good job boys. You will eat your creation soon.
Big boys cook with us too, but I missed getting pictures of them this time.
